ePortfolio Assignments in Public Service Campaigns

ePortfolio profile creation:

Students’ individual ePortfolio account will provide their “record” of work done during the semester. Following instruction in ePortfolio basics during the first class session, students will have three weeks to create their personalized ePortfolio platform. Specific direction and evaluation criteria for the assignment will be distributed during the first class session.

ePortfolio semester-end evaluation:

At the conclusion of the semester, students’ work on their ePortfolio platform will be assessed. Content, as well as presentation of material in a professional fashion, will be incorporated into evaluation for this assignment.

Service-learning reflection blog:

Four times during the semester, starting with the first week of February, students will write and publish (to their ePortfolio platform) a personal reflection blog, which will incorporate what they have learned about their partner organization, as well as the principles of service-learning they are living out through their semester’s work.
