ePortfolio Assignments in COMM 494

ePortfolio profile creation:

Students’ individual ePortfolio account will provide their “record” of work done during the semester. Following instruction in ePortfolio basics during the first class session, students will have three weeks to create their personalized ePortfolio platform. Specific direction and evaluation criteria for the assignment will be distributed during the first class session.

ePortfolio semester-end evaluation:

At the conclusion of the semester, students’ work on their ePortfolio platform will be assessed. Content, as well as presentation of material in a professional fashion, will be incorporated into evaluation for this assignment.

Entrepreneurship and PR reflection journal:

Three times during the semester, due at the end of each of the first three rotations, students will write and publish (to their ePortfolio platform) a personal reflection blog, which will incorporate what they have learned from their time in the Office of Strategic Communication and Marketing, as well as the principles of entrepreneurship they are living out through their semester’s work.
